Steve Leidholdt has been part of the communications industry for over 25 years. His career began with several smaller companies and Southwestern Bell. His desire to extend a high standard of customer service and quality to a level he could be proud of prompted him to start his own company.
In addition to his responsibilities as president of STL Communications, Leidholdt has been involved in many parts of the communications industry on a national basis, serving as a committee chair, board member and most recently President of the North American Association of Communications Dealers (NATD). A long-time advocate of AT&T, Lucent and Avaya Dealer programs, he has served on various advisory committees and boards, including the Avaya Dealer Council from 2001 to 2003.
Heading up such strategic areas as systems installations, warehousing, purchasing and IT, as well as human resources, Greg Bell possesses an in-depth understanding of the role STL Communications, Inc. plays in the success of its customers – and with twenty plus years of logistics experience and top notch people, he ensures the resources are in place to meet these demands.
Greg has built an excellent installations and services group, recruiting some of the most talented technical people in the St. Louis area. From project managers and software specialists, to technicians specializing in upgrades and new system implementations, the STL Communications, Inc. services group has the technical skills and work ethic to ensure success on projects of any size.
Beginning his career more than two decades ago in the grocery business, his relocation to the St. Louis area in 1996 opened new opportunities to demonstrate his dedicated work ethic and keen problem-solving abilities. He also remains active with the St Louis Regional Growth Association.
With 30 years experience solving problems for small to large businesses, Al manages the STL Communications sales force and pushes sales for total understanding of end user benefits. He has positioned himself as a communications process improvement expert, driving best practices and customer outcomes, thus improving his customer’s bottom line. Al brings sales and marketing professionalism to STL Communications, elevating sales performance using his ability to grow young sales professionals, as well as bringing seasoned veterans into the era of solution and benefit selling with a twist on social media.
Beginning his career as a telephone system administrator in 1986, Al has evolved his knowledge of the industry through a number of positions with top communications companies like AVAYA and applies this experience to help customers with business problems and drive sales within the team he leads.
For the better part of the last two decades, Chris Illingworth has been delivering solutions to customers to solve business issues, while keeping simplicity and efficiency in mind. His goal at STL Communications will be to build out additional solutions outside of the traditional voice business that will include: Storage, Virtualization, Infrastructure, Backup and Networking.
Chris holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Emerging Markets at STL Communications. His immense background in this industry, as well as his experience in growing sales teams and creating solutions for his customers has laid the groundwork for his position at STL
