STL Communications, Inc. recently conducted a search for nominations looking for an individual who contributes their time to a local charity or community cause, to reward the individual for their community involvement, as well as make a financial contribution to the local charity or community event they support. We called this “Play It Forward
We received many fantastic nominations made by friends, coworkers, and business associates throughout the community. It was difficult to only choose one nomination, but STL Communications, chose a winner for this person’s charitable work, and rewarded him with St.
Louis Cardinals opening day tickets! The winning nomination was sent from Connectria, located at 10845 Olive Blvd. St. Louis Missouri. Connectria as a wholenominated an employee who volunteers often with a charity called “The Bridge”- located in St. Louis.
On June 12th, 2013 STL Communications is hosting a Technology Fair at Busch Stadium, where anyone is welcome to attend. There will be keynote speakers, breakout groups, lunch and networking, tours of Busch Stadium, the chance to get your photo taken on the baseball field, as well as, multiple iPad giveaways with STL Communications partners such as Avaya and Motorola. At this Technology Fair, STL Communications will donate $5 per attendee and provide The Bridge with a check, for assistance to their mission.

The Bridge provides sanctuary for homeless and at-risk persons in St. Louis. Meals and support services for basic human needs are offered by a staff intent on eradicating homelessness by guiding guests on a path to self-sufficiency. The Bridge is located in Centenary United Methodist Church at 1610 Olive Street, two blocks west of the downtown library. Open hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
