STL COMMUNICATIONS is sponsoring and participating in the annual Miles for Meso Walk/Run this Saturday, September 27.

Miles for Meso is an annual walk/run that supports the research and education of Mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Nearly 3,000 people are diagnosed with mesothelioma every year. There is currently no cure and the treatment options are limited.  The Miles for Meso walk/run is dedicated to building awareness around this orphan disease.

The event is held Saturday, September 27 at 9 a.m. in beautiful Alton, Illinois. The rolling hills and beautiful Mississippi River view make for a truly enjoyable experience.
