How AVAYA is Creating an Interactive Fan Experience at AVAYA Stadium

Recently, AVAYA became the official sponsor of the brand-new, first cloud-enabled Major League Soccer (MLS) sports venue. The AVAYA Stadium sports venue features 18,000 seats and aims to deliver a high-tech fan experience. AVAYA’s state-of-the-art technology has been placed throughout the venue to enhance and create a more engaging experience for Major League Soccer (MLS) fans.

AVAYA Stadium will open in March 2015 and will be equipped with AVAYA hardware, software, lightening-fast WiFi, on a cloud-based network, as well as AVAYA’s voice, data, wireless and contact center solutions.

The most exciting features are the interactive, fan-friendly, mobile application and in-seat ordering option. With most sports fans using at least one wireless, internet-enabled device during an event, a reliable communications infrastructure is a must for a twenty-first century sports venue.

AVAYA also installed and operated the network for the 2014 Winter Olmpics in Sochi and sponsored other venues such as the home of the Rogers Arena and the Pepsi Center.
