The first stop of the 2020 Hoosier Super Tour season was the Gateway 1.6 Sprints presented by STLCOM.COM held at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison Illinois 
on May 30 and 31. Steve Leidholdt drove his 1967 Mustang to 3rd place finishes in both Saturday’s 25 minute race and Sunday’s 35 minute race.
“The weather was perfect, the car was running great and I set a personal best with a qualifying lap time of 1:10.6, so I had a great weekend. Thanks to all the great work by the St. Louis region of the SCCA to make this event happen, despite all the challenges of the current environment,” said Leidholdt.
The STLCOM.COM race car is a highly modified 1967 Mustang. Events planned for the 2020 race season include Blackhawk Farms in Beloit WI, Heartland Park in Topeka, KS, WWT raceway again in August and hopefully several more. Steve Leidholdt won both the 2018 and 2019 ITE class for the Midwest division of the SCCA with this car.
