The company is currently developing its strategic post-acquisition growth plan and recruiting one or more interns to assist that process. Interns will work directly with the CEO, Nick Akers, who ran the search and acquisition process. Nick has 20+ years of experience as CEO and entrepreneur in multiple high-tech industries.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for a summer internship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to assist us with various tasks related to market research, customer outreach strategies, financial modeling, and developing acquisition target lists. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in private equity, search funds, entrepreneurship, and lower middle market acquisition processes to apply.
– Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends
– Assist in developing customer outreach strategies and campaigns
– Support the financial modeling process by analyzing data and preparing reports
– Prepare outreach materials, including personalized messaging.
– Collaborate with the team to compile acquisition target lists and conduct preliminary due diligence
– Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and insights
– Assist in creating presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
– Stay updated on industry news, emerging technologies, and market developments
Expected commitment for this internship is 10-20 hours per week, onsite in St. Louis, MO. Candidates are likely currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs related to business, entrepreneurship, or finance.
